It was tough finding offense for the Raiders; they had drives to the basket but the shots wouldn’t fall. They were behind 6-12 at the end of the first period. Their defense kept the game close with the ball pressure and crashing the boards.
The Raiders cut into the lead in the second to be down by five (13-18), but the offense still wasn’t flowing. In the third, they found how to get some points and cut the lead to one then finally took their first lead (24-23) with 3:13 left in the third.
