The Rappahannock Raiders boys’ tennis team was matched against the New Kent Trojans on Tuesday April 8. The top six players on the Raiders played the top six on the Trojans; one versus one in single matches and so on. Bradley Hedges, Paul France, Evan France, Jacob Gozka, Riley Knight, Landon Rock all won their sets rather easily. Bradley Hedges didn’t allow his opponent to score a point in seven of the games. Then they teamed up to play doubles with number one and two on the same side of the court. The outcomes of the double matches were the same as the singles; the Raiders won all three. The final result Raiders were victorious 9-0. “We have a scrappy aggressive team,” said Coach David.
