The Rappahannock Raiders golf team got a road win on Thursday versus the Lancaster Red Devils at Golden Eagle Golf Course. The teams played a nine-hole match in which six golfers play and the best four rounds will be used to compute the total score. The team with the lowest score wins.
You have to practice, practice, and practice even more to be a successful golfer. The majority of high school golfers strive to be a “scratch golfer” as a male someone that can hit the ball 250 yards on average and can hit a par four 450 yard hole in two shots and play the course to par; as a female someone that can hit the ball 210 yards and reach a par four 400 yard hole in two shots. There are so many things that you have to do correctly in your shot routine to get the ball to go where you want it to.
