National Night Out is a community-building campaign. This event promotes police-community partnerships to make neighborhoods safer and a more caring place to live. Richmond County held its first National Night Out on Sunday, August 5 at the Warsaw Town Park. DJ Brian Gracik moved the crowds with music through the decades. Law enforcement officers and first responders mingled throughout the crowd getting to know their community members. Sheriff Steve Smith said they have talked about doing the National Night Out before and decided this would be a good year.
