Following a rewarding and successful endeavor in 2009, American Legion Post 117 in Reedville has again enjoyed the company of visiting servicemen and women from the nation's armed forces.

On Tuesday, June 8, two separate groups, Marines from the Portsmouth Naval Hospital and Soldiers from Walter Reed Army Medical Center made the trip to Reedville to enjoy a day of fishing. Post 117's dedication to the Wounded Warriors and Warrior Transition Programs continues and enough cannot be said about the help they receive from the surrounding community, businesses and individuals alike.
