Citizens differ on comp plan vision

If a comprehensive plan is the destination, than the pieces of paper engraved in Magic Marker with goals such as "quality control development," and "limit government restrictions on zoning" were the zig-zagging highway towards it.
Meeting on Jan. 28, representatives from the Network for Education of Municipal Officials, county officials and citizens convened at the Northern Neck Technical Center for a collaborative, interactive workshop on Richmond County's future.
"The goal tonight is to produce something," said Jonathan Doherty, NEMO representative. "We want to come out at the end of the evening with a description of the vision of the county's future."
