The Rappahannock Lady Raiders were home against the Northumberland Lady Indians on Tuesday, April 26. The Lady Raiders got two runs (2-0) in the bottom of the first inning when Jenna Whelan and Kathryn Morris homered over the center and left centerfield fence. They sent eight batters to the plate in the second, and scored three runs to make the advantage (5-0). Two more runs in the fifth made the score (7-0). With (9) strikeouts and (3) scattered hits, the Lady Raiders held the Lady Indians scoreless. Megan Elbourn had two hits and crossed the plate twice.

On Wednesday April 27, the Lady Raiders faced the Colonial Beach Lady Drifters. They stopped the Lady Drifters in five innings (15-2). All the Lady Raiders were hitting the ball; it was like Lady Raiders on display as they ran around the bases. Head Coach Ellen Gaines switched up the line-up to give her players more game time experience at different positions.
