The Tree of Love was brought back to life on the evening of Dec. 4 in the courtyard next to the Richmond County Administrative Office. It is the 23rd year the Richmond County Museum has sponsored this event.
For many members of the Warsaw and Richmond County community, the ceremony is the official start of the holiday season. The tree, lit with bright red, green, and white lights, honors those who deserve to be honored and the memory of those that have been lost of the year. Each light adorned represents the love for these individuals and the holiday spirit. Guests serenaded it during its ceremonious return with Christmas carols to show their admiration.
