Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame family group, The Hoppers, will bring their moving blend of harmonies and uplifting message to Cobham Baptist Church in Warsaw, on Sunday, December 9 at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Known to many as “America’s Favorite Family” of Southern Gospel music, The Hoppers are currently made up of husband and wife Claude and Connie, son Dean and his wife, Kim, and son Mike. The group first formed as Hopper Brothers in 1957 in North Carolina and later performed under the name Hopper Brothers and Connie. The line up changed over the years, with sons Dean and Mike joining in the late 70s and early 80s. The Hoppers have performed before audiences across the U.S. and around the world. They’ve also been featured on the Gaither Homecoming Tours and Billboard’s Christian Music charts and are frequently nominated for The Singing News Fan Award, Favorite Mixed Group. Both Connie and Kim have won The Singing News Fan Award, Favorite Female Singer on multiple occasions.
In addition to many Southern Gospel favorites, they will perform songs that celebrate the spirit of the season and stir the soul.
