Revitalization underway; Saddlery to be relocated to Town Park
In its regular meeting, Thursday, March 9, 2017, the Warsaw Town Council (Council) approved the revitalization plan presented by PMA Architecture (PMA). PMA, located in Hampton, Virginia, was contracted to provide the Council with Phase I, the design and marketing aspect off Main Street’s revitalization. Additionally, the Council approved the next step in the process of the revitalization plan—to make application for a $750,000 grant from the Department of Housing and Community Development to fund the revitalization of Main Street. In other matters, the Town Council approved the relocation of the Saddlery to the Town Park; its new location will be adjacent to the park’s entrance. The cost to move the Saddlery to its new location remains the responsibility of the Friends of the Saddlery group and community supporters.
