Posted on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 1:55 pm

In the early hours of the morning on October 29, Richmond County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call reporting a burglary at Design Printing Company on 589 Main Street in Warsaw. Richmond County Sheriff’s Office was not alone in their search for the alleged suspect; they were also assisted by Deputies from the Essex, King George, Northumberland, and Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Offices. Sheriff Smith solicited the help of the public on Facebook, requesting that if anyone had any information, they call Crimestoppers. Later on Monday, they were able to make an arrest in the incident. Eighteen-year-old Jordan Allen Reed of King George was arrested on charges of breaking and entering. On Facebook, Sheriff Smith thanked the community for their role in the capture of Reed: “We thank the community for their shares, comments, phone calls, and tips that lead to the rapid closure in this case. There were over 15,000 people viewing our social media posts in the first day and the flood of information was immediate. We are proud of our community taking care of each other!”
