Macedonia Baptist Church will host their annual Missionary @ Macedonia Baptist Church

Macedonia Baptist Church will host their annual Missionary Program on at 3 p.m.  Rev. Dennis Woodard of the Sylvannah Baptist Church, Spotsylvania will be the guest.  Dinner will be served following the 11 a.m. service.  All are welcome.  The church is located at 1081 Macedonia Lane, Colonial Beach.

A Musical Celebration of the death and resurrection of Christ will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 2596 Walmsley Road, Lottsburg, at 7 p.m.  Featured local musicians include:  New Hope Choir, Libbie Panter, Tommy Thompson, Sharon Mann, Emily Thorne, Tim Thorne, Heather Newsome, Barbara Howdershell, Debbie Whaley, Gene Pittman and Taylor Dawson and Friends.  Refreshments will be served following the musical. Cople Parish Episcopal Churches will have a Palm Sunday Procession of the Palms

Cople Parish Episcopal Churches will have a Palm Sunday Procession of the Palms and hear the story of the Passion of Christ according to the Gospel of Luke read by members of the congregation beginning at 9 a.m. at St. James Church in Tidwells and again at 11 at Yeocomico Church near Kinsale.  Each service will begin with a blessing of the palms which will be distributed to the participants before the procession and end with Holy Eucharist.

Cople Parish Episcopal Churches will hold a Maundy Thursday service in which we recall Jesus’ actions at the Last Supper

Cople Parish Episcopal Churches will hold a Maundy Thursday service in which we recall Jesus’ actions at the Last Supper he shared with his disciples before he went to the cross for the sins of the world.  Gathering at Nomini Episcopal Church located on Route 202 at the Nomini Creek bridge at 7 p.m. the participants will hear the call to be servants of all and share in Holy Communion in remembrance of Christ’s instruction.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Fleeton welcomes the community Maudy Thursday service at 7 p.m. 8 and Good Friday service at 7 p.m. March 29. Rev.
