Lancaster and Northumberland Democrats will meet jointly

The Lancaster and Northumberland Democrats will meet jointly at the Heathsville Public Library beginning at 6 p.m. Ms.Nelson, Director of the Northern Neck Free Health Clinic will speak of the Clinic’s current operations and the implications, if any, the new health care program initiated federally. All interested persons are invited.

Chesapeake Academy will host a “Lessons Learned, Stories Told” presentation @ Northern Neck YMCA

Rappahannock Baptist Church will hold a Ham Dinner @ Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Dept.

Rappahannock Baptist Church will hold a ham dinner from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Westmoreland Volunteer Fire Department in Montross. Eat in or take out. For tickets or info please call 493-8192 or 493-8142. All proceeds will benefit the Fellowship Hall Building Fund.

Origami Owl BINGO

The RHS After Prom Committee is hosting an Origami Owl BINGO at 6:30 p.m. in the RHS Cafeteria. Come out and play for a chance to WIN beautiful jewelry. Tickets will be available at the door but are cheaper in advance.

Because We Care Relay for Life Team CAR WASH, BAKE SALE, YARD SALE

Because We Care Relay for Life Team will have a car wash, bake/sale yard sale from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Bank of Lancaster, Warsaw. Donations accepted. All proceeds go to The American Cancer Society. $

Children First: Educating parents in preventing custody conflicts

Children First will hold a four-hour class at 9 a.m. on educating parents in preventing custody conflicts. The class will be held in the MPNNCSB MH/SA Administration Office located on 13794 Tidewater Tr. in Saluda, VA  23149.

History of Ball’s Neck, Northumberland County, will be presented @ Shiloh School, Northumberland County

The history of Ball’s Neck, Northumberland County, will be presented at a “Country Talk and Walk” by June Hudnall Turnage at 9:30 a.m. at Shiloh School. The talk will recount the history of the area, including the importance of school in the lives of earlier residents.

Amazing Magic by Rob Westcott @ Richmond County Public Library

Richmond County Museum invites children ages 2-8 years to participate in Easter Fun Day at the Museum from 1-2 p.m.  Hunt for Easter Eggs, meet Easter Bunny and enjoy stories by Francie.  No charge but bring your baskets and cameras.  Light refreshments will be served. See you there!

Oak Grove VFD Juniors Fish Fry Dinner

Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department is holding a Juniors Fish Fry Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. at the fire department on 121 James Monroe Hwy. in Colonial Beach, Va., 22443. There will be fried fish, french fries, corn, corn bread and dessert. There will also be a raffle for a backpack full of things for Turkey season. $
