The public is invited to partake in an all you can eat baked potato bar from 5 to 7 pm at Afton United Methodist Church in Ophelia. A variety of toppings will be offered along with a salad and homemade desserts. The meal, sponsored by the team Christians For The Cure, is by donation and all proceeds will go to the Relay For LIfe. Afton UMC is located at 5130 Hacks Neck Road.
Belle Isle State Park will be hosting a special campfire at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016. This event will feature the Shiloh String Band, a group of local musicians who play an assortment of folk, mountain music, sea chanties, and other kinds of Americana. S’mores will be provided.

smART Workshop 10:30am -12noon –Create a Raku Fish! With Ed Ramsey –This workshop is for ages 7-13 and will be held at the Artist’s home studio in Sharps. Hand build a fish out of clay using patterns and repetitions; glaze it and fire it in a Raku kiln. This is a 2 day workshop.
