Westmoreland County Republicans Mass Meeting @ A. T. Johnson Building

At 7 p.m. Westmoreland County Republicans will hold a Mass Meeting at A. T. Johnson Building, Montross, to elect the Committee Chairman, Committee members, delegates to 1st District Convention and the Virginia Republican Party Convention.  Registration commences at 6 p.m.  All Republicans and like minded residents eligible to vote in Westmoreland County are welcomed to attend, but must register at the door no later that 7 p.m.

Spring Family and Friends Day @ Mulberry Baptist Church

Mulberry Baptist Church, where the Rev. Gernard E. Reed is Pastor, invites you to its Spring Family and Friends Day.  Guests at 11:30 AM service will be the Rev. Michael R. Reed and the Clarksville Baptist Church.  This will feature a dual sermon by Pastors Michael and Gernard Reed. Dinner will be served at 1:30 PM, and the afternoon service at 3 PM will feature the Rev. Connie Jones, Jr. and the Siloam Baptist Church of Montross.  Please join us in the grand celebration of Family and Friends.

RHS After Prom Spaghetti Dinner @ Warsaw Methodist Church

A spaghetti dinner and silent auction to benefit Rappahannock High School’s After Prom will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Warsaw Methodist Church on Main Street. Dine-in or deliveries available. Cost of dinner is $10.

Slow Time Service @ Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Daylight Savings Time begins Saturday night, which means you lose an hour’s sleep on Sunday morning.  However you don’t need to wake up early or change your clocks to attend worship service!  Keep the hour’s sleep and worship on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. “SLOW TIME” with the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church family in Callao.  Then after service, change to Daylight Savings Time!  All are welcome to attend.  The church is located at 1717 Hampton Hall Road (Rt. 202) just 2 miles east of the stoplight in Callao.

Christ in the Passover Presentation @ Beulah Baptist Church

David Liebman of Jews for Jesus will re-create the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called “Christ in the Passover” at Beulah Baptist Church at 11 a.m. 130 Beulah Lane, Warsaw, VA 22572. For information call 804-333-3706.

Pork Loin Luncheon @ Warsaw United Methodist Church

Warsaw United Methodist Church will hold a Pork Loin Luncheon from 12 – 3 p.m. at 287 Main Street in Warsaw to support the Standing Rock Mission Trip. The menu will include pork loin, roasted potatoes, a veggie medley, mixed green salad, rolls, dessert and beverages.
