Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Virginia (MPAAGHS) will hold its monthly meeting, 11 a.m. at the Essex County Public Library, 117 North Church Lane (Rt. 17), Tappahannock. All persons who are interested in African-American genealogy and history are invited to attend. Experienced researchers and novices alike are welcome.
