Native Plants for Wildlife and Beauty with NNVNPS @ Wicomico Parish Episcopal Church

Nature lovers and gardening enthusiasts are invited to see Jan Newton’s stunning photographs of butterflies, birds, hummingbirds and other interesting “critters” when she discusses  Native Plants for Wildlife and Beauty with the Northern Neck (NN) Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society (VNPS). The meeting will begin at noon in the Wicomico Parish Church (Episcopal) in Wicomico Church.

Invoices & Expense Tracking workshop (1pm-4pm) at the RCC Kilmarnock Center @ RCC Kilmarnock Center

The University of Mary Washington Small Business Development Center Warsaw office will be offering a Invoices & Expense Tracking workshop (1pm-4pm) at the RCC Kilmarnock Center. In this workshop you will be introduced to tools that will assist you in making financial management feasible. Technologies covered: Microsoft Excel 2010, LibreOffice Calc.

At 3 p.m. the Virginia Employment Commission will host Budgeting For The New Year.  This workshop provides information about the importance of starting or planning your budget for the New Year.  Kathleen Watson of the Virginia Cooperative Extension will be the instructor.
