Third annual Black History Month Celebration at New Jerusalem Baptist Church

At 4 p.m., the third annual Black History Month Celebration will be held at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with this year’s theme of Supporting Our National & Local Leaders. Washington & Lee High School and Hampton University graduate Edward Reed will be the event’s guest speaker. This event is in partnership with youth ministries from Siloam and New Jerusalem Baptist Churches. No charge for admission.

Gospel Musical featuring local talent @ Rappahannock Baptist Church

Rappahannock Baptist Church of Newland will be hosting a Gospel Musical featuring local talent  at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served and a love offering will be taken to benefit the Fellowship Hall Building Fund.

Morning Star Baptist Church Men’s Choir in Zacata celebrates its anniversary @ Morning Star Baptist Church

The Morning Star Baptist Church Men’s Choir in Zacata, Charles V. Payton,pastor, will celebrate its anniversary at 3p.m. Come out and praise the Lord with the following groups: the Beulah Men’s Group from Beulah Baptist Church in Lively, Mulberry Men’s Group from the Mulberry Baptist Church, Little Zion’s Men’s Group from Little Zion Baptist Church in Oak Grove, Siloam Men’s Group from the Siloam Baptist Church in Zacata, and Brothers in Christ from the Maranatha Baptist Church in Colonial Beach.
