NCHS presentation by Dr. James I. Robertson, renowned professor, consultant, author and historian of the Civil War

The Northumberland County Historical Society will feature Dr. James I. Robertson, a renowned professor, consultant, author and historian of the Civil War. His presentation, The Inspiration of General Stonewall Jackson, will be at the Ball Memorial Library and Museum at 2:30 p.m. in Heathsville.

The Siloam Baptist Church Praise Dance Ministries will have their Annual Celebration of Praise

“The Siloam Baptist Church Praise Dance Ministries will have their Annual Celebration of Praise on Sunday, April 7 at 3:30 p.m. Dance ministries from Grants Hill, New Zion and New Jerusalem Baptist churches will help us Celebrate our 15 years dancing for the Lord. All our welcome as we lift up the Name of Jesus through song and dance.”

Bird Walk at Belle Isle State Park

Northern Neck Audubon Society will conduct a bird walk at Belle Isle State Park led by Frank Schaff Monday, April 8. Carpools leave Grace Episcopal Church, Kilmarnock at 7:15 a.m.  Those driving directly to the park should arrive at 7:45 a.m. and meet at the horse trailer parking lot on the right beyond the Camp Store. Several pairs of loaner binoculars available.  Please call Frank Schaff at (804) 462-0084 to register.
