The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck will host “Casino Night at the Rivah” from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at the Club’s Education and Recreation Center at 517 North Main in Kilmarnock. Tickets: $50 and include delicious food, beverages, and $10,000 in casino chips. Tickets can be purchased at the Club or online at www.bgcnn.com.

Reception for the student winners of the Spring Art Contest

Tappahannock Artists’ Guild, 200 Prince St., Tappahannock will host a reception for the student winners of the Spring Art Contest sponsored by the Essex Woman’s Club on Sunday afternoon, April 28 at 3:00 p.m.  The show will hang for two weeks in the Gallery, Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from noon-4 p.m.
