Reedville Fishermen’s Museum is presenting 2013 Winter/Spring Lecture Series

The Reedville Fishermen’s Museum is presenting 2013 Winter/Spring Lecture Series on Monday, May 6th at 7:00 PM held at Festival Halle, 177 Main Street, Reedville.  Has climate change really influenced the Chesapeake Bay?  In May, Lynton Land will look at the effects of Climate Change on the Chesapeake Bay now and in the future.  The museum politely requests a $5.00 donation.  Light refreshments will be served.  For more information call 804-453-6529 www.rfmuseum.org

May 1 – June 1 – New Exhibit –  “One Artist Show – John Latell”   Latell’s original works of art in a variety of mediums including metal, paint and cloth. Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm.   All art work is for sale.  The public is welcome and admission is free.  19 N. Main Street in Kilmarnock.

The Northern Neck of Virginia Historical Society is holding its spring membership meeting on May 8th at 10 AM in the Council House at Stratford Hall.  The brief business meeting will be followed by guest speaker Dr. James (Bud) Robertson, a lecturer of national acclaim on Civil War History.  Non-members are invited.
