BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
In accordance with §15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended and pursuant to §15.2-2310 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Richmond County Board of Zoning Appeals hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, in the Richmond County Public Meeting Room, 101 Court Circle, Warsaw, Virginia 22572 to consider the following:
•Atack Properties, Inc., 4130 Innslake Drive, Glen Allen, VA 23060, seeks a variance from provisions of Section 2-3-7 of the Richmond County Zoning Ordinance, which states that corner lots must meet the front yard requirements along each street that the lot fronts on. The variance request is to allow a 25-foot setback from Riverview Road (Route 672) instead of the required 50-foot setback. The property is located at the intersection of Riverview Road and Level Green Landing and is further identified as TM No. 29(5)1.

Pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, notice is hereby given to all interested parties that the Richmond County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., Board Meeting Room, County Office Building, Warsaw, Virginia, in order to consider the following application for a Richmond County Wetlands Permit:
• Charles M. Metzgar, 5964 Old Greenway Drive, Glen Allen, VA 23059, has applied for permission to construct a rip-rap revetment along the Rappahannock River shoreline, located at 139 & 123 Front Street and further identified as Parcels 48 & 49 of Tax Map 42. (VMRC#17-1462)

PURPOSE OF NOTICE: To seek public comment on a proposal to terminate a Consent Order issued to a hazardous waste management facility in Warsaw/Richmond County, Virginia.

FACILITY NAME, LOCATION AND EPA ID#: Wood Preservers, Inc. (WPI), 15939 History Land Highway, Warsaw, Virginia, 22572, VAD003113750.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED ACTION: The DEQ is tentatively proposing to terminate the Consent Order (CO) for Post Closure Care for two Solid Waste Management Units (SWMUs) at the above referenced facility. In September 1988, the WPI and DEQ voluntarily entered into a Consent Order to complete post closure care and assure that any environmental impacts from the two SWMUs were properly addressed. Since that time, WPI, in coordination with DEQ, has addressed outstanding issues related to these SWMUs and has met its obligations under post closure care. Therefore, the provisions of the CO are no longer necessary. WPI is working in coordination with DEQ to put land use controls, in the form of institutional and engineering controls, in place for the property in accordance with the Virginia Uniform Environmental Covenant Act (UECA). The covenant will include land use controls for the two SWMUs.
HOW TO COMMENT: DEQ accepts comments by hand-delivery, e-mail, fax or postal mail. All comments must include the name, address and telephone number of the person commenting and be received by DEQ within the comment period. The public also may request a public hearing. To request a public hearing, the request must be in writing; must state the nature of the issues proposed to be raised in the hearing; and must be made within the public comment period. The public may review the Administrative Record, which contains all the information considered in DEQ’s proposed decision, at the DEQ Central Office, 629 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia, VA 23219.
