The Garland Lake HOA is soliciting bids for the 2017 mowing season. The total acreage is 12 acres, mostly along roadways in the Garland Lake Development. Pursuant to a Decree of Sale entered by the Circuit Court of Richmond County, Virginia, on February 9, 2017 in the chancery cause of Catherine C. Woodruff, plaintiff v. Charlotte Coleman, et al, defendants, the undersigned Special Commissioners, will sell at public auction 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the front steps of the Circuit Courthouse at in Warsaw, Virginia, the following property:
Parcel One
All that certain lot or parcel of land situated in Marshall Magisterial District, in the County of Richmond and State of Virginia, on the east side of the “Islington Road”, and bounded as follows: Beginning at an Oak Tree on the East side of the “Islington Road”, running through the woods N. 80E. 52 poles to a branch, thence down the branch to a marked oak in the same, thence back to this “Islington Road”, a line of marked trees S. 80 W. 81 poles to a small pine on the East side of the said road, thence up the edge of said road, a due North Course, 48 poles to the point of beginning, and containing by survey made in the year 1900 (notes of which are given above) twenty acres of land.

William land; thence with Mars. Williams, formerly Thrift, up said meadow N. 62 . E 40 pos. to a small maple corner; thence N 52 W 136 pos. (with the land now or belonging to W. A. Jones) back to the said Islington Road to a pine; thence with the said road S 1 . E 32 pos., S 10 W 14 3/4 pos. to the beginning.
TERMS OF SALE:
The two parcels will be offered for sale separately as they do not adjoin.
Once each parcel has been sold separately, they will then be sold in combination. The highest total price achieved will be the bid presented to the Court for conformation.
CASH. A bidder’s deposit of 10% of the successful bid will be required following the sale in either a cashier’s or certified check and the successful bidder will be required to sign a Memorandum of Sale. The sale is subject to confirmation by the Circuit Court of Richmond County, Virginia. The property is to be sold “AS IS” and conveyance will be by Special Warranty Deed. Real Estate taxes will be prorated as of the date of closing. Closing shall be held at the offices of Hubbard, Terry & Britt, P. C., 293 Steam Boat Road, Irvington, Virginia 22482, within two weeks of confirmation of the sale by the Circuit Court.

Notice is hereby given that the Warsaw Planning Commission and the Warsaw Town Council will be holding a Joint Public Hearing on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Robert W. Lowery Municipal Building, located at 78 Belle Ville Lane, Warsaw, Virginia. The Public Hearing will discuss a request for a Conditional Use Permit for a multi-family dwelling located on parcel 16A4(A)71, zoned R-12 (Residential Office). PUBLIC NOTICE – PLANNING COMMISSION
In accordance with Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended and pursuant to Sections 15.2-2285 and 15.2-2310 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended, the Richmond County Planning Commission hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held starting at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2017 in the Richmond County Public Meeting Room, 101 Court Circle, Warsaw, Virginia 22572. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider the following applications:
1. Clifton L. Jenkins of 442 Strangeway Road, Warsaw, VA 22572, proposes to rezone Tax Map No. 15-16, located at 134 Newland Road, Warsaw, VA, from Residential, Limited (R-1) to Residential, General (R-2).
2. To receive public comment on a proposed amendment to the Richmond County Zoning Ordinance. The updated language modifies the provisions for allowance of equine in an Agricultural District.
