PURPOSE OF PUBLIC MEETING: For the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to exchange information with the interested public on technical issues related to the proposed permit modification such as: site-specific information that DEQ may consider when drafting the permit modification, the standard content of permits, and how the public can provide comment on a draft permit modification

Based on comments received on the draft permit, DEQ may make a final decision on the permit, or hold a public hearing on the draft permit, in which case, the State Water Control Board would make the final decision on the permit.
