Farnham Manor Assisted Living along with Hospice of Virginia is sponsoring enrichment programs to include a continuing education (CE) credit from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch will be served, the topic is, entering a new dementia: an understanding of dementia in the modern sense. The series will be held at Rappahannock Community College, Warsaw campus, room 11.
The next meeting of the Computer Genealogy Group at 1 p.m. in the Auditorium at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury near Irvington.
A family orientation for those whose loved ones are showing signs of dementia or have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other dementia diseases. Topics include: Steps to getting a diagnosis; important legal documents; financial resources; services of the Alzheimer’s Association; resource lists; and a question and answer session from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Commonwealth Assisted Living, 460 South Main Street, Kilmarnock.
A Northumberland Primary School Art Exhibit will be on display until Feb. 25 at the Rappahannock Art League Studio Gallery, 19 N. Main Street, Kilmarnock. Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
Eagle Scout Fundraiser Dinner at Coan Baptist Church, Heathsville from 5 to 7 pm. Eat-in or carry-out. All proceeds go toward the building of a Veteran’s Memorial area to honor all men and women who have served their country in any branch of military. (Project underway by Joey Gaskins, Boy Scout Troop 250, Callao.) $
Eagle Scout Project fundraiser dinner! A Pancake Supper, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at Coan Baptist Church in Heathsville. All proceeds go toward the construction of a Veteran’s Memorial monument and reflection area, complete with granite marker, flag pole, and nice concrete benches in a area near the church and adjacent to the cemetery. Come enjoy a nice supper and show your support of our troops! $
Henderson United Methodist Church in Callao is sponsoring a Soup and sandwich supper from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A musical, from 7 to 8 p.m., will round out the evening. Admission is $10 with proceeds to benefit the Henderson Scholarship Fund.

The Richmond County After-Prom members will hold a bake sale in front of Colonial Collectibles in Warsaw. Please come out and support this important event that helps raise funds for graduates to celebrate in a safe environment after their prom.
The Mighty Spiritual Lights Pre-Anniversary will be held at First Baptist Church, 619 Jackson St., Colonial Beach. Musical guest are: Young Sisters in Christ, Burkett Lyburn and All Together, Nate and New Generation, Sensational Singing Angels, The Mighty Gospel Melodies and Eric McKenzie and the Hi Lite Juniors from Patterson, N.J. Free will offering. All are welcome.
