The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Board of Supervisors of Northumberland County, in accordance with Section 33.2-331 of the Code of Virginia, will conduct a joint public hearing in Northumberland County Courthouse, 39 Judicial Place, Heathsville, Virginia at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th of May. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Secondary Six-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2016 through 2021 in Northumberland County and on the Secondary System Construction Budget for Fiscal Year 2016. Copies of the proposed Plan and Budget may be reviewed at the Northern Neck Residency Office of the Virginia Department of Transportation, located at 734 Barnfield Road, Warsaw, Virginia, or at the Northumberland County Administration office located at 39 Judicial Place, Heathsville, Virginia.
All projects in the Secondary Six-Year Plan that are eligible for federal funds will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), which documents how Virginia will obligate federal transportation funds.

PUBLIC NOTICE – PLANNING COMMISSION
In accordance with §15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended and pursuant to §15.2-2310 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended, the Richmond County Planning Commission hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will start at 7:00 p.m., May 11th, 2015, in the Public Meeting Room, County Office Building, Warsaw, Virginia for the following:
• To receive public comment on a Rezoning Request submitted by the Diatomite Corporation of America regarding their proposed Fones Cliffs development located off of Carter’s Wharf Road, further identified as parcel(s) 4-1, 4-2 and 5-30. The development is described as a 976 acre mixed use project with a golf course, lodge and other amenities. The current zoning classification is Agricultural General (A-1), with a proposed rezoning to Residential Mixed Use (R-3), Conditional Business (B-1), and Conditional Agriculture (A-1). The proposed rezoning map may be viewed in person at the Richmond County Administrator’s office at 101 Court Circle, Warsaw, Virginia 22572 between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.

Public Hearing
The Warsaw Planning Commission and the Warsaw Town Council will hold a joint public hearing Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. in the Robert W. Lowery Municipal Building located at 78 Belle Ville Lane, Warsaw for the following purposes:
• Review the General Development Plan and Site Plan of Packett Rentals, LLC in conjunction with their request to build an additional 12 units in addition to two existing rentals units for a total of 14 units. The units are to be combined into a single Parcel from Tax Map Parcels 16A2 ((4)) 9,12 & 13. The lots are located on Main Street, directly across from the VDOT state shop and adjacent to Mallard Court apartments. The property is zoned R-12.
A copy of the proposals is available for view at the town office and questions may be directed to the town office between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at (804) 333-3737.
