  • Rappahannock boys team weathers comeback bid from Colonial Beach to win 71-64

    After beating both Cumberland and Colonial Beach, the Rappahannock High School varsity boys basketball team improved their record to 8-7.

    Rappahannock lost its top scorer late in the first half Friday, and with him went a commanding lead. The Raiders held, however, fighting off a comeback bid from  Colonial Beach to win 71-64. Kelvonte Ellis proved to be tough for the Drifters to handle.
