Dorothy Brown Bowles
Mrs. Dorothy Brown Bowles, 89, of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013. She was the widow of G. T. “Red” Bowles and a member of Cobham Park Baptist Church.
Survivors are her daughter, Martha Loving; her daughter-in-law, Pat Bowles; four grandchildren, Michael Bowles (Karen), Shawn Bowles (Kelly), Travis Loving and Michelle Morris (Jason); and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Joe Bowles and her siblings, W. R. Brown, Durwood Brown, Lawrence Brown, Marjorie Thrift, and Catherine Coates.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel with burial in the Cobham Park Cemetery. The Reverend Steve Smith, Shawn Bowles and Pastor Donald Bowen officiated. Pallbearers were Jason Morris, Zach Morris, Travis Loving, Shawn Bowles, Mitchell Loving and Bill Clement. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond County Fire Dept.
Gladys Hancock Balderson
Gladys Hancock Balderson, 73, of Warsaw, passed away April 20, 2013. She is survived by sons, James E. Balderson (Debbie) of Colonial Beach, John Michael Balderson, Montross, William Bernard Boyle Jr. (Dana) of Warsaw and Curtis Bryon Boyle of Montross; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, John Hancock (Brenda) of Leonardtown ,Md., Ralph Hancock (Carol Ann) of Port Tobacco, MD and sisters, Betty Ryon (Bernard) of Accokee, Md., Edna Ketchum (Phil) of Charlottesville and Janet Kay of Silver Spring, Md.

Johnnie Clarence Davis Sr.
Johnnie Clarence Davis Sr., 66, of Ophelia, Virginia, passed away on April 19, 2013. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracy L. Holcomb and her husband, Robert of Reedville, Aimee D. Kelley and her husband Daniell of Lancaster; three sons, Johnnie C. Davis, Jr., and his wife Samantha, of Reedville, Douglas E. Davis, and his wife, Denise of Burgess, and Christopher “Chris” W. Davis and his wife Karen, of Lottsburg, one brother, Donald E. Davis and his wife, Patricia of Warsaw, 15 grandchildren, and one great grandson.

Louise Thomas Swann
Louise Thomas Swann, 85, of Kinsale, passed away April 19, 2013. She was born at Merry Hill, Windsor, N. C. She married Harry Kirk Swann of Norfolk, Va. She was an ever giving, loving and beloved wife and mother. She will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her sons, Harry Kirk, Jr., Christopher Kent and Winston Sterling; grandchildren, Harry Kirk III, James Christopher, Jr. Benjamin, Christin, Courtney and Tiffany, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at Yeocomico Episcopal Church, Tucker Hill at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3.
