Warsaw Town Police apprehend suspect wanted in three counties

At the Thursday evening July 10 Warsaw Town Council Meeting, Warsaw Police Chief Christopher Spare came in looking a bit flush and breathing a bit heavy.

Immediately prior to the meeting, Chief Spare and Warsaw Police Officer Scholes, in concert with Richmond County Sheriff Office Deputy Blaine English, just finished running down a suspect who was wanted in three counties for a variety of charges.

The event began when authorities were notified the suspect was seen at the Warsaw 7-Eleven and when the suspect saw he was spotted, he took flight in his vehicle.

The suspect eventually jumped out his vehicle and began running—leaving his passenger rolling along in the still-running car. The passenger slid into the driver’s…
