Planners, residents, developer discuss concerns, hopes for potential residential subdivision in Town of Warsaw

Town planners and citizens shared their questions and concerns on Thursday about the proposed Bailey Ridge subdivision at 187 Memorial Dr. that Developer Roy Rogers hopes will serve as an economic  pick-me-up for Warsaw.

During the Warsaw Planning Commission’s public hearing  for the proposed subdivision, Warsaw resident and town councilman Ogle Forrest said he was “in no way” opposed to development.

“I think the town needs to grow and this is how,” Forrest said. “We need families, we need people in town.”

But he addressed the storm water issue at hand.
