Man sentenced in malicious attack

Larry W. Hearn, Jr, 25, of Mathews,  pled guilty and was sentenced for the commission of the four felonies of Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Unlawful Wounding, and a Felony Show Cause Probation Violation as well as the two misdemeanors of Reckless Handling of a firearm and Brandishing a firearm in Lancaster County Circuit Court on February 25. Hearn was sentenced to an active sentence of 8 years and 7 months incarceration. This was for a total of 50 years and 10 months with all suspended but 8 years and 7 months to serve according to a statement from Robert Cunningham, Lancaster County Commonwealth’s Attorney.
