On Tuesday, Feb. 11 the Lady Raiders were on the road versus the Lady Drifters. The Lady Raiders’ offense didn’t seem to travel with them. They had issues with the home team’s pressure defense, which led to turnovers and indecision.
In a low scoring game, the Lady Raiders totaled 25 points, but they couldn’t hold the Lady Drifters to less and lost (25-44).
The team never got into a rhythm on offense, and it affected their overall game. When your team doesn’t get shot opportunities because of turnovers (forced or unforced) and the outside shots aren’t falling, it’s tough to stay the course.
The Lady Raiders enjoy basketball, so they competed hard throughout but this is one of those games that you burn the video and score book.
They will be back at practice working hard this week getting ready for Conference tournaments.
