Marie Conley Bryant, 65, of Callao died December 26, 2013. She was born on November 16, 1948 in Richmond County, Virginia, daughter of the late Hudnall and Hattie Conley.
Surviving are her husband, Reuben B. Bryant; one son, Jonathan R. “Jon Ross” Bryant and his wife, Kelli of Callao; three grandchildren, Joshua William, Kaitlyn Alyssa and Kayla McKenzie Bryant of Callao; three sisters, Doris M. Lewis and her husband, Arlden of Montross, Beatrice “Bea” Smith and her husband, Thomas of Lancaster and Mattie Headley and her husband, Reubin of Lancaster; one brother, Hudnall W. “Bobby” Conley of Lancaster; one stepson, Robert Daniel “Bobby” Bryant and his wife, Sherri of Callao; one step grandson, Matthew Dylan Bryant of Callao; seven nephews; four great nieces and one great nephew. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton Irvan “Sonny” Conley and Robert E. Conley.
Marie graduated from Lancaster High School in 1967 and started her career with Continental Telephone Company. She retired from Verizon after 30 years of service.
A visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. A private graveside service will be held the following day.

Evelyn F. Gardy (nee Newkirk) age 83, of Farnham, formerly of Woodbury Heights, NJ, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013.
A caring woman of faith, Evelyn was devoted to her family. She enjoyed caring for her flowers in the yard and taking care of her many pets over the years. She loved ballroom dancing and was a member of the Woodbury Heights Seniors group. She was a former member of the Gloucester County Community Church in Washington Township.
Born in Woodbury, NJ, Evelyn was a longtime resident of Woodbury Heights, NJ prior to moving to Virginia. Evelyn was an elementary teacher in Deptford and West Deptford for 37 years prior to retiring in 1995.
She was the beloved mother of Patricia (Jerry) Lynch and Susan (Michael) McGlinn; devoted grandmother of Jason (Kimmy), Robert (Katlyn), Ian, Rebecca and great grandmother of Haley, Olivia and Jarrett.
Viewing was December 23, in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ. Funeral service immediately followed. Interment was at Friendship Methodist Cemetery, Monroeville, NJ.

Mary Foxwell Jones Keeling, wife of Ernest M. Keeling of Dogue, VA died December 25, 2013.
Mary was born December 6, 1933 on Crookhorn Farm in Montross, Westmoreland County. She was the daughter of the late William Clarence and Maude Marmaduke Jones. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mabel Gutridge and Thelma Rouhana, and one brother, William P. Jones.
Survivors include two children, Elizabeth K. Webb of Harrisonburg and John E. Keeling (and wife Laurie) of Ashburn; two granddaughters, Alexandra Webb and Anastasia Webb of Harrisonburg and one grandson, Simon Keeling of Ashburn.
Mary was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and had served as Regent for the Chantilly Chapter.
Interment will take place at a later date in the columbarium at the Arlington National Cemetery.
