Wrestling: Washington & Lee places fifth in the Cavalier Clash with 107.5 points. Patrick Henry finished first with 167 points followed by the home team, Caroline, with 157. In third place, Middlesex with 114, Highland Springs in sixth with 77, Trinity Episcopal in seventh with 71 and Petersburg in eighth with 67.5.

Scholastic Bowl: Essex took a 5-1 lead on the season after rounds 5 and 6 were held. Lancaster is behind in second at 4-2 followed by W&L at 3-3 and Rappahannock, Northumberland and Colonial Beach at 2-4.

Round 5: Northumberland won 165 over W&L with 160 and Colonial Beach with 140, and Essex with 170 won over Lancaster with 150 and Rappahannock 135.

Round 6: Colonial Beach earned a win 150 over Rappahannock with 140 and W&l with 115. Essex and Lancaster each had 150 followed by Northumberland with 105.

Registration is underway for the Youth Basketball in beginning on Dec. 14 from 8-10 a.m. Camp will be held for students in grades K-12 at Colonial Beach High School starting Jan. 4 for five weeks every Saturday.
