Richmond County grading policy under fire

A local think tank is coming together to look at changing Richmond County schools’ grading scale, school officials said last Wednesday.

Assistant Superintendent Sarah Schmidt told the public on Nov. 13 that the school division is forming a research committee that will explore its grading policies and practices and make recommendations on whether they should change or stay the same.
