Two very gifted musicians, Alan Tripp and Scott Griffin, will be visiting Warsaw for a concert at the Cobham Park Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m.  Tripp, a native of Clearwater, FL began studying piano at the age of 9 and was doing full piano concerts by the time he was 14. He earned a Music Degree in piano performance from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and has spent most of his time as a concert pianist, playing throughout the U.S. and numerous foreign countries.

In 2012 he served as pianist for the King’s Brass, and started accompanying gospel singer Larry Ford in international concerts.  Alan  is also a speaker and performer at Tourette Syndrome conferences around the globe.  His unique music style emphasizes creativity and joy.

Scott Griffin, a native of Jacksonville, FL has been playing the piano as long as anyone can remember.

An active participant in piano festivals, contests and recitals, he has  received a number of awards at regional and national levels.

He is also a graduate from Moody Bible Institute with a major in piano performance, and served as Pianist and Music Ministry Coordinator for The Moody Church in Chicago from 2004-2013.  He has toured the U. S. and many foreign countries as he shares his unique musical skills.

Alan and Scott began playing duo concerts together in 2007 while appearing in venues all across the U.S., as well as abroad. They enjoy blessing their audiences with unique musical arrangements, creatively combined into entertaining performances.  Commenting on their visit to the local church, pastor Donald Bowen said, “Alan was with  The Kings Brass when they visited us several months ago and was an immediate favorite with our people. Now that he has teamed-up with Scott Griffin, we anxiously await their visit. Anyone who hears them will leave with a blessing – and that’s a promise.”
