At 10 a.m. Rappahannock Westminster-Canterubury in Irvington will host an educational session for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Ellie Galloway, Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, and Ginger Peer, CMT, of Heart Felt Touch Massage Therapy will explain and demonstrate how touch can alleviate pain and help calm anxiety and agitation in those with Alzheimer’s.The presentation is free and open to the public.
